Great service from Paul at The Carpet Depot. We’re really happy with the carpet, which was supplied and fitted within a week of Paul visiting our house to measure up! Paul decided that a 4 metre wide roll would be just enough to cover our longest width, saving the extra cost and wastage of getting a 5 metre roll. Come fitting day, Darren the fitter couldn’t quite get the carpet under the door bar at the room’s widest point, but knew the solution - fit a wider door bar. The non-standard wider door bar in the correct colour was difficult for Paul to source but he came up trumps and Darren came to fit the door bar today - everything now looks perfect. I’ll be using this company again the next time I need a new carpet or new flooring. Thanks to Paul and Darren.

October 2026 update: Another great experience with Paul and his fitter, this time for a bedroom carpet that was fitted on October 9th. After listening to my requirements for a carpet suitable for a new home office that I needed to set up due to my work office closing, Paul recommended a loop pile carpet, Gala. The carpet was duly ordered, the fitter was booked and I got on with decorating the bedroom, with the carpet fitting day as my motivator. Paul gave excellent advice on the best way to remove the old carpet and getting the skirting boards painted at least a week before fitting (I recommend Dulux Trade diamond satinwood paint, which flattens well and hardens to a super durable finish after a few days). The fitter arrived in good time on the booked fitting day and did a lovely job, the carpet was beautifully fitted with not a single mark on the woodwork. Love the colour of the carpet against my sage green walls and with the 9mm underlay it feels lovely underfoot. Couldn’t be happier. Thanks again for your great service.

Great service! Every step of the process was brilliant. They knew exactly what to recommend. The only up selling was pointing out that we could get most of a second room from the leftover carpet, and they gave us a really good deal on it.

We had a fantastic experience with Paul and the Carpet Depot. Paul was able to talk us through the various options of carpet with detailed knowledge of the products and our needs. Most impressively was Paul's commitment to our tight timescales. We were moving house and in need of a very quick turnaround. Not only did Paul communicate clearly throughout, making sure the carpets would arrive in time, he also ensured our fitters were booked in promptly.
